We have invented and patented a turbine technology together with engineers from NTNU water power laboratory. This means that we create a high air pressure that forces the humidity out the fabric of the shoe or mitten.
This means that we dry a soaking wet shoe in less than 30 minutes on tornado mode and mitten even faster.
For the HANGER and WALL we recommend not drying shoes that weigh more than half a kilo. Cross country ski boots, sneakers, kids boots, mittens and gloves are fine.
For Alpine ski boots, Snowboard boots we recommend using Hedgehog OCTOPUS.

We have used a fire safe ceramic heating element, double fuses, temperature sensor and also coated all electronics with fire resistant gel.

Yes, we have designed the Hedgehog to be able to operate inside a closet. If overheating occurs, it will automatically shut down.
One of the advantages of having it inside the closet is when running in tornado mode, there will be no sound.
If you are drying wet shoes and mittens over a longer time in a closed space, we recommend to have ventilation to air out the humidity.
Our cord is 3 meters. We supply the longest cord possible on an electric fan, so you can reach an electric outlet nearby.
